Editorial standard
How the atlas is built
Bungu Atlas is a research publication, not a hands-on review site. Its job is to make product systems legible: dimensions in one unit, compatibility claims tied to a source, and US availability kept separate from physical fit.
Source order
- Current manufacturer specification or product-system page.
- Official US distributor or official regional store.
- Program-supplied merchant material, used only after its terms are verified.
Retailer listings may be used to locate a product, but they do not override a manufacturer specification. Every guide records the date on which its sources were checked.
What “compatible” means here
We call products compatible only when the manufacturer places them in the same system or explicitly names the combination. Equal width and height receive a caution label, because cover thickness, ring position, hole count, and closure tolerances remain unknown.
How automation is used
Automation assists with source organization, unit normalization, draft structure, and original editorial illustrations. A human-readable source list remains attached to every guide. Generated illustrations are not photographs of the named products and are not evidence of hands-on testing.
Corrections
If a current official source contradicts an atlas entry, the official source wins. Send the page URL and conflicting specification to hello@bunguatlas.com.
